Browser no longer opening after computer crash (user data error)

My computer crashed earlier today and upon restarting it every application functions properly except Brave. As I do not know what caused my computer to crash I am unsure of how to duplicate the error. When I click either the shortcut or open the file location and run as an administrator it briefly has the loading circle then nothing.
I followed the steps on these two posts:

With the second one being similar to my situation.
I believe it has something to do with my user data as I copied it over to the Brave Beta and then the same issue occurred after it worked properly and if I delete everything in my user data I can do the same with a fresh install of the regular browser. Replacing the data repeats the error.

How do I keep my data from earlier and not cause the crash to occur?

seems ur install could be corrupted u will need to reinstall :frowning: im unsure if its possibe to keep said data but i wish u the best :slight_smile:

Yes, sadly I do not know of a better solution at this time. I am able to do a fresh install and get it working. I just want to keep my data.
