I am trying to do the sync on my new phone following the steps outlined in a previous post. I have done this twice and it is not working.
Sync instructions say “On your second mobile device, navigate to Sync in the Settings panel and tap the “Scan Sync Code”. Use your camera to scan the QR code below.”
I have done that except the scanning did not work and I had to enter the code words. Despite doing that, nothing has synced from my old phone to the new one.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
- Open sync settings
- Add device to sync chain.
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
I still do not see the browser data from my old device.
Expected result:
My browser data is supposed to sync but it does not.
Reproduces how often:
Every single time I try to perform the sync and create the “sync chain” this occurs.
