Browser Freezing - MAC - Error



**Description of the issue: Browser is causing my MAC to stop responding. The “waiting for page to respond…” error comes up saying the brower is using lots of resources. Forcing a shut down of mac as it will fail to respond. This is the only program that it happens with.

**Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): open more that five tabs and all of a sudden the machine slows down for whatever reason

**Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!): Cannot take screen shoots

Thanks for reaching out.

Likely you’re using the soon-will-be-replaced Brave (muon).

Brave is in migration process to new architecture. And unfortunately, this version will no longer receive a bug fixes, etc. Since this version will be replaced by the new Brave (0.58.x and higher).

Upgrade for the current user to the new Brave (brave-core) is coming. Or if you want to install it manually, you can download the new version from

No need to uninstall. You can run it in parallel then you can import your data from prev. Brave. This new version is better and fix many issues that exists in prev. version.

Also For users who had issues migrating data from Brave Muon to Brave Core if you have trouble on migration process.
