Description of the issue: I’m having an issue where the browser freezes. I can click through tabs, and scroll. But I cannot click on anything or type anything.
How can this issue be reproduced? It happens randomly 2/3 times a week. It’s not an easily repeatable issue.
Brave Version:
Version 1.73.105 Chromium: 131.0.6778.265 (Official Build) (arm64)
Computer version:
MacBook Pro 14-inch, Nov 2023
Chip: Apple M3 Pro
Memory: 18 GB
macOS: 14.6.1 (23G93)
this isn’t the solution because I’ve tested both graphics acceleration on/off on my macbook air m1 and have the same exact problem. I get a beachball and pages freeze for a few seconds before coming back to life.
this is either a brave or chromium problem, because it occurs for me on my windows PC as well.
I’m on a Macbook Pro M3. I actually don’t get the spinning ball error, it just freezes. Though I haven’t had the issue since I turned acceleration off. I haven’t used an M1 Macbook Air, but Air’s are not known for their processing speed, so that may be a factor in the issue that you’re experiencing. However, that is definitely a different issue.
