How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Go to settings
  2. Type “cookies” in the search bar
  3. Click on “Cookies and other …”
  4. Click on the “Block third party cookies” dropdown menu button. Not the arrow on the right! (This one works fine)

Expected result:
Opening of the dropdown menu

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.15.75 Chromium: 86.0.4240.99 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit)
Additional Information:

I have the same problem. I’m also using version 1.15.75 (on a Mac running macOS Catalina 10.15.7).

So, to be specific … you’re clicking on the TEXT itself:
“Block third party cookies (not recommended”:

.
.
… and NOT this down / up arrow button (at the far right of the text)

I clicked on both items, without a crash.
Brave Release 1.15.75 on Win10
and Brave Dev (1.16.66) on Linux and Brave Nightly (1.17.43) on Linux.

I think I found the bug. The crash only happens on german language settings. When I select english it works fine.

@CaptnBaz Which language do you have selected?

Maybe @Mattches can tell us if this is spotted yet?

Btw. it is still happening under:
[Version 1.15.76 Chromium: 86.0.4240.111 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit)]

@enum You might be onto something. Mine is in french.
