Browser crashes when scrolling down page

Description of the issue:
Brave Browser for Windows crashes on some pages when I scroll down about half-way through the page.
It happens on a few pages. It’s strange because I noticed this on this website (g1.globo.com), however not every page on the site does the same. Some do, some don’t.
I’ve tried turning shields off but still the same. Tried to open a new tab but still the same.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):

  1. Open this page: https://g1.globo.com/educacao/enem/2018/noticia/2018/11/04/redacao-do-enem-2018-veja-dois-modelos-de-textos-exemplares-feitos-por-professores.ghtml
  2. Scroll the page down. Usually half-way down is enough. Sometimes, a little more.
  3. Wait a couple seconds. Page will crash.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

Expected result:
No crash.

Reproduces how often:
Everytime I access that page or any page that has the same issue.
