Broken images showing for all emails with remote images disabled

Description of the issue:

Broken images showing for all emails with remote images disabled. This is for private emails. As you may be aware remote images are a serious privacy risk affecting all web based email providers, even local email clients. This is because every time you open an email, they do not ask for a read receipt but serve you remote images to see whether you are reading your email. If you disable the ‘remote images’ option in Gmail, it behaves pretty much the same as broken image link, show a broken image icon. Which is quite an annoyance. The request is to disable the browser’s broken image icon to a transparent gif or no image at all. Then one can give an option to display the alt text or not. It is a fundamental feature of Brave to a) disallow privacy intrusions of this nature and b) not display broken images when the ad image is not found ( found also in private emails with remote images disabled ) or c) actual pages too with the image not found, that broken image serves no purpose, is an annoyance and the browser can just display the alt text instead. I believe that the alt text too should be displayed by default ( because there is a missing image there and the developer could have a link there ) and should be an opt-out option in the browser ( or even on a page by page basis ). One can even choose not to display the alt-text at all by default as there are pages that display a long alt text that are vertically aligned to the top of the image in question that gets cut off. ( Or make sure that the alt text is written aligned with the bottom of the missing image, should give better looking alt texts ). Or one can choose not to display alt texts at all unless the missing image was a link so as not to lose the link object. Brave policy says do not display images or alt texts, so one can choose to not display alt texts at all by default. It is cleaner and websites don’t play this game of creating a bad experience for users if users want privacy.

To summarise: Please replace the browser broken link image icon with a blank transparent gif or no image at all.
