In the default configuration of Chromium, the URL is being displayed in a ‘shortened’ way.
https://brave.com/ would be displayed as just brave.com/ which is arguably less secure.
This is changeable by setting the flag (brave://flags/ or chrome://flags/) Omnibox UI Hide Steady-State URL Scheme to Disabled. (Default is the same as Enabled)
I did try setting it myself, which worked, but got reset (I am unsure if this was due to an update or another cause).
I’m not asking to change this setting to be off by default, merely to not reset the setting (in case the reset was the result of an update) or give the user an option in the settings to turn it off, without having to do it manually in the flags settings.
