Brave’s Shields blocks localhost connections, which are necessary for Enpass (password app browser extension) to communicate with its desktop app. This is the error message I get: chrome-extension://kmcfomidfpdkfieipokbalgegidffkal/pages/error/error_static.html

Any time saved on blocking tracers is quickly lost while this issue persists.

  • Brave Browser version numbers
  • Computing device
  • Operating System version numbers

Re your issue, sounds like you have at least 1 extension (the EnPass Password Manager) that you installed, that may be the cause of your issue.

But, there is a chance: THAT extension has trouble with some other extension . . .

Test, by disabling ALL of the extensions that you have added, and then try:

Install in a sequence, one-at-a-time, leaving any anti-virus and adblocking extensions to be installed, last - the anti-virus extension definitely last . . .

Install in a sequence, one-at-a-time, BUT NOT INSTALLING any anti-virus and adblocking extensions, YET, install the EnPass Password Manager extension, last . . .

You might stumble onto what works.
