BraveBrowser Add count vs. No BAT on Wallet

Briefly describe your issue: Add count shows pages / partners (adds?) Where I had supposedly visited, shown attention - but no BAT on Browser Wallet shown

What Operating System and Brave version are you using? (Menu --> Help --> About Brave)Brave 1.73.97, Chromium 131.0.6778.108 Android 9; Build/PPR1.180610.011

Who is your verified custodian or self-custody? (Uphold/Gemini/bitFlyer/Solana) BraveWallet (thought so?)

Are you in a supported region? (see here for list of supported regions) Germany …

@FamilyW I am a bit confused on what you are asking. Also need to get some clarification on things. For example, can you screenshot your Rewards screen? Such as like below:

What I’m looking for in this screenshot is primarily the upper left, are you connected to anything? The image means you are connected with Solana, which is the on-chain payments…which is Brave Wallet or whatever. If you don’t have that and it does not show Connected, then we know this is your problem.

What are you saying here? Can you be more detailed?

I simply ask on “how many adds do I need to visit / notice … to get any BAT”?

As the count does list that I have x number on partners / adds, or what it means, used (visited by browsing on the web pages) … but I do not see how this use of the browser does gain me any coins within the BraveBrowser Wallet … as the wallet is meant to be the place where I collect the Rewards after all …right?

Under ‘the account connection’ it only offers to chose from those external krypto wallet partners … but as I have already installed the “build in browser wallet” thingy, how is that to be used ??

So this screenshot answers the biggest. You aren’t connected to anything. Since you aren’t connected, you can’t earn. This is why it says:

`“Wollen Sie etwas verdienen?
Verbinden Sie ein Konto, auf das wir Ihren Verdienst überweisen können.”

Germany is not allowed to link to Uphold, so you only have on-chain. On-chain is not available by default. You may want to read through everything I say at PSA: Current and upcoming changes to Rewards and Creators. You will have to apply to the waitlist and then wait for invitation to be sent.

Maybe you do not Unterstand what I asked - I am not “uphold” or any other third party customer.

Isnt there the saying “not your key(s) not your coin(s) …”-?
The BraveBrowser wallet does show me a 12 word recovery phrase …so it is MY integrated or as Brave Browser calls it ‘build in wallet’.
For what do I need to create an BAT-wallet on an external krypto partner then ??

BRAVE Browser clearly states that I can hold an ‘self custody wallet’…aka the BraveWallet … instead to be a user of Gemini, bitFlyer or Uphold.
Thats the given fact in advertisment on BraveBrowser / Brave Help Center - Rewards - Connected Account.

So I simply eant to know how this does run now … there is no option given that does ask for my BraveWallet to connect with the BAT earnings.

Hope this makes it clear.

As all thus “regional only” partners stuff is specific to those third party service providers.
I instead have the BraveWallet … as this is praised on BraveBrowser as the ‘build in’ and always available feature .

English

@FamilyW why do you choose not to read links people give you? If you read, you would see it is by invitation only. The information I referred you to also provides you a link for you to be able to sign up for the waitlist so they can send you an invitation so you may be able to connect to on-chain payments (self custody).

It can be frustrating when answers are given but people seem to ignore them. Even in my last reply,. I told you:

Hello …there is endles pages on complications with 'Uphold’and other third Party concepts.
In “your” links there it states as well that tjis invitagion does require a third party account.

And as we read - those third party systems are not working for Germany.

So thats why I get the impression this whole ‘BraveBrowser Reward’ System is not fully sufficient develloped so far.

Keep in mind, you’ll need a Discord account to sign up.

…see there - jet another third party account - thats annoying.

I personally have nothing agaibst KYC … and in best case a 2FA locked build in wallet. Actually the BraveWallet on this phone is by now fingerprint locked.

So if possible … male it work by an nowadaxs State of the art KYC approval service.

I am getting adds but there is not any Bats counter so i am not receiving any Bats. My Brave rewards are connected with uphold. On my Brave web I can see the bats balance in Uphold but and up right the number of adds received but in that area there is none bats counter.
Thanks in advance
Jm

Apoelsiner - You are on the wrong tree …

You have to start your own request

So anything new on this situation?

… have to say the whole way it (does not) go in the BraveBrowser gives an pretty annoying and dissapointing impression.

I am not able to make a use of anything … all I managed with success was to create said Brave Wallet.
All the rest is just not “user friendly” and my advice for the people behind Brave Browser is ‘come back if your product does really work’

So the Add-count is gone now …

Means I have spend data-rates for nothing!

Anything new on situation with ECE market not fully covered?
