Description of the issue:
I have a network file system device on my home network. It has a web interface. I have routinely opened that interface using Brave ever since I set the hardware up. But today all of a sudden it will not load when I type the IP address into the browser address bar.
It works fine on Firefox on the same computer. It works fine on Chrome on my work computer. It’s only using Brave on my personal notebook that it won’t open. I get a little picture of a clock and it just sits there saying “Loading.”
I have cleared cookies for the site and so on, rebooted my computer, etc. No luck. Any other ideas for what I might try?
Update:
I used developer tools to look at the dev tool console, and an error is reported:
/#/404:1 Failed to load module script: Expected a JavaScript module script but the server responded with a MIME type of “text/html”. Strict MIME type checking is enforced for module scripts per HTML spec.
On my older personal computer, running a slightly older version of Brave, this error does not occur and the page loads fine and presents me with the login prompt.
Thanks,
Kip
