Brave will not update from within the "About Brave" window

Description of the issue: Brave Update failure
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open “About Brave”
  2. Automatic update check begins
  3. Security window opens to allow software changes
  4. Error message given below;

    Expected result: Brave should update to latest version. Error message instead.

Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.8.86 Chromium: 81.0.4044.129 (Official Build) (64-bit)
