I’m running Big Sur v. 11.2.2 on an M1 Mac mini.
Brave v. 88.1.20.103 had been working well for 4 weeks on this new machine, but suddenly today it will not quit. I downloaded Brave again and tried installing it as a replacement app. But because Brave is still running I could not do that, so I saved it as Brave Browser (2).app. However, because Brave will not quit, I can’t use the freshly downloaded version.
Help, please!
I solved the problem with Activity Monitor force quit, and installing Brave v. 88.1.20.108
