Brave will not open. I discovered that I have to go to Task Manager/Processes & use ‘end Task’ for the 2 Brave instances following which Brave opens fine.
However, if I close Brave & later attempt to open it again I have to go through the same procedure.
Is there any way I can prevent this from happening?

looks like there extention make brave freez so try to disable all extention and see if it work fine (after you close all extention for the first time close brave and make sure it not running process then start brave again then go for any website stay for 1 min then close it again then try to open it and see if it open normally or not)
also check that one
brave://settings/system
Continue running background apps when Brave is closed try to disable this
