Brave will not continue where I left off

**Description of the issue:**Brave will not “continue where left off” when i open it up to use it.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 31Close window**Open window

**Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):**Brave opens to “New Tab Page”

**Expected result:Open to Last page that was open when closed window

**Reproduces how often:**Every time

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):Windows 11-64 1.79.126
**Additional Information:**I am trying to switch to Brave for my default browser but need it to remember where I left it when I last closed the window.

IIRC, the procedure is to:

Visit the website, and click the tune icon . . .

and then select Site settings:

Then click the Delete data and Reset permissions buttons:

---

Then be sure to Disable Continue where you left off . . .

and completely Exit / Quit the Brave Browser application. Clicking an application window’s X on a Windows OS computer, only closes the window ← does NOT Exit / Quit the applications.

Restart the computer. Start BB in a New Window (NOT in a Private Window). Enable the Continue where you left off switch. Test.

Thank you very much. Now Brave will my default browser! It did take me awhile, I just had to prove that my 85 year old brain is sometimes quite slow .
