Brave > Why are bookmark folders grey in Linux but yellow in Windows?

Description of the issue:
I use Brave browser in Windows and in Linux. Why are bookmark folders in Windows yellow but in Linux they are grey? Can I make them yellow in Linux?

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Open brave in Windows 10 and in Linux Manjaro and see that bookmark folders in Linux are grey instead of yellow.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Brave bookmark folders in Linux are grey.

Expected result:
Brave bookmark folders in Linux should be yellow as they are in Windows 10.

Reproduces how often:
Every time I open Brave in Windows or in Linux.

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Windows Details…
Windows 10, 20H2
Brave: Version 1.23.75 Chromium: 90.0.4430.93 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Linux Details…
Operating System: Manjaro-kde-21.0.2
Brave Version 1.23.75 Chromium: 90.0.4430.93 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
Furthermore, is it possible to change the colour of bookmark folders in Brave ideally to any colour you want? That would be amazing.

Is anyone on here using a Chromium browser in a linux distro?

I see the same thing in Brave and Google Chrome.

I’m just curious why the bookmark folders are grey in Linux distros instead of yellow in Windows 10 and if anything can be done about it. Does that bother anyone?

Flex

I use Manjaro. They grey for me.

Thanks for confirming it’s the same for you.

Can someone at Brave explain why this is and can anything be done about it?

I tried a few different themes but they have no effect on the styling of the Brave UI. I get this same result in Ubuntu Mate and in Manjaro.

I want Bookmark folders on my Brave Bookmark Bar to look yellow like they do in Windows.

Cheers,

Flex
