Brave wallet password

I updated the brave app on my mobile. when I click the wallet icon, I get a screen with two options:
need a new wallet, or already have a wallet (import existing).
where is the option to enter my password?

What OS are you using? Did you reinstall recently?

The password option is only presented when a wallet has already been created. If you’re seeing those two options it means there is no available Brave Wallet yet. You’ll need to create one first.

I am using android. I created a wallet several days ago, and was logging in with no issue.
On my desktop, when I put in the password, the message is:
incorrect password.

If you reinstalled on Android, you would need to use your recovery phrase to restore your previous wallet.

The password to the Brave Wallet is specific to the device. This password is created during the initial setup of your Brave Wallet. If you do not remember the password, you must reset and restore the wallet with the recovery phrase.

The only way to bypass the password is to reset and restore.
