Brave VPN payment

I tried out Brave vpn but wasn’t planning on keeping it but before I removed the subscription it took my money.

Now after checking brave told me that the payment had failed due to a bad connection to stripe but my money is still gone and I would like it back seeing as I was planning on using that extra money to treat myself to something.

I had a similar issue where the payment was deducted from my card, but the VPN subscription was not activated. I contacted support by creating a ticket, and they resolved it for me.
