Brave Version 1.4.21 Chromium: 79.0.3945.74 keeps crashing

The browser keeps crashing on multiple sites.

Hi @tatwo are you sure about the version? For me it’s version 1.1.21 Chromium: 79.0.3945.79 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Could you provide links to the sites your Brave is crashing on?

By my guess @thommes He’s on Brave nightly. See this post for a comparative ‘list’ of sites crashing.

Crash all the time since 1.4.21

Upon some testing with the latest github release of 1.4.24 release here : https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/releases It seems the crashing after Rewards enabled has subsided in this version. DO NOT TRY AND MERGE THE TWO BROWSERS! This version appears to be a prototype for a later Nightly channel release, and alleviated the crash issue. I will continue using nightly, and cheching here periodacally if anyone else has this issue. It at least appears that Brave is attepting to fix the issue…

An easy fix, disable brave rewards until next update. Hope they fix this soon.
