Brave V1.21.73 does not work with mooltipass extention anymore

Description of the issue:
The extention for my offline password safe (Mooltipass https://www.themooltipass.com/) is not working anymore with the newest versions of Brave. Erros message is “Mooltipass Application is Missing!”.

For better understanding, Mooltipass is a hardware password safe. The release of user/password combinations must be done physically on the device.

To automatically fillout login fields or to store new credentials you need a browser extention. This does not connect directly to the USB device. Instead it connects to a userspace application via encrypted websocket on localhost. This application sends login requests or new credentials to the device. The device transfers the credentials to the application and the application sends it to the extention. The extention then fills in the fields and executes a login. For new credentials the whole thing in the other direction.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):

  1. Install the Moolticute extention and the client application: https://www.themooltipass.com/setup/

  2. Connect a Moolipass (if available)

  3. Unlock the device mooltipass device.

  4. The icon of the moolipass extention sould be white NOT red.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

Expected result:
Connection between the extention an the client application possible. Extention icon becomes transparent.

Reproduces how often:
allways

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Linux Mint 20.1, Brave V1.21.73

Additional Information:
Worked till last update.
