Brave uses 100% CPU in YouTube Premium

Description of the issue: Using Brave on YouTube premium CPU is pegged at 100% for approx 1 min. After a minute CPU goes down to 96-94%
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Yes. Turned off extensions (AdBlock, Google Analysis opt-out, Silky, Ublock Origin) Same result
  2. Use Chrome browser, no problem

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.79.119 (64 bit) Chromium 137.0.7151.68

**Additional Information: Winver (home) 21H2 (22000.2438)

Do you have graphics acceleration enabled at brave://settings/system?

Thanks for your reply.
I turned off graphics acceleration, but the problem still occurs. It’s only on live streams in YouTube. I have the live video paused and am just using chat in the browser. (I play the video portion thru my TV app.)
After running both Chrome and Brave, the problem occurs on both. It’s a YouTube problem…
