Like chrome, it would be great to login for the browser. This way, users would be able to download Brave on a computer that isn’t their primary one and still have bookmarks and personalization.

I concur; having a secure login with encryption, synchronized data stored on a Brave server, a robust password, and possibly incorporating 2FA/PassKey would be highly desirable.
If Brave opts not to retain any user data, that’s perfectly acceptable. Alternatively, consider integrating a file storage provider for seamless automatic backups—options like OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, etc. I simply wish to ensure hassle-free backups of my current settings without any concerns.
