Brave Unifi Video Login failure

Platform specs:
MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 (19H15)
AMD 3950x CPU
64GB RAM
AMD Radeon 5700xt GPU

Description of the issue:
Starting approximately 2 months ago, brave stopped working with the unifi login method in the HTML. It seems somehow cookie or security related as I can load the page fine in the latest Chrome and that has never stopped working. Safari has no problems also.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Navigate to host : port / URL of the Unifi video controller login page
  1. Attempt login
  2. Spinning icon in button

Expected result:
XHR page content change due to login
Does not 301/302 this appears to be DIV content change
Not a web-dev, just a lowly sysadmin, so I am guessing based on what I see.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.22.72 Chromium: 89.0.4389.128 (Official Build) (x86_64)

Unifi NVR Version 3.10.13
https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/unifi
Self-hosted, and Packaged from Lunuxserver.io

Additional Information:
This action works in Chrome Version 89.0.4389.128 (Official Build) (x86_64)
and Safari Version 14.0 (15610.1.28.1.9, 15610)

Video of the attempt in all three browsers

Try modifying the site’s brave shield settings? Might work…

Thanks for the advice. I appreciate the attempted assistance.

When I clicked the shield icon at the end of the address bar and disabled shields there was no change.

I am still unable to login to the App via Brave.

I also tried turning of HTTPS redirect. No luck.

then it’s just broken… There’s a report sites button if diable shields from the address bar…

This is docker container running on my NAS. Submitting a URL or IP address will do nobody any good. This is why I linked the docker image and provided a video of the website working in two other browsers including developer tools view to show what was being sent, and what not received.
