Brave today page

When opening a new tab I have it set to Brave today. It took me a while to realize there was stuff to see if I merely scrolled down. Why not instead bring the “cards” up near the top on the right-hand side?

Why limit the left-hand side to only one row of saved sites? Why not allow them to continue into multiple rows filling the page? This would make Brave today much more attractive as a “home page” or a “launcher page”.

When you click on one of those cards in Brave today it opens up the page but it replaces the Brave page. I’m more used to things like Google news which opens links in new tabs. This way the Brave today page could become a page that I scroll down and click (or control-click) to open in another tab to read.

Make these options configurable in the Brave today customize.
