BRAVE team advice requested re using Duck Duck Go's 'Privacy Essentials' alongside BRAVE's 'Shields'

Would appreciate an informed opinion from a BRAVE team member whether Duck Duck Go’s ‘Privacy Essentials’ are likely to conflict with BRAVE’s Shields settings.

Thanks.

(Have noted two posts from Windows users citing issues when in ‘Private’ mode, including this one: https://community.brave.com/t/brave-crashes-and-closes-when-typing-on-a-non-tor-private-window-with-duckduckgo-privacy-essentials-on/74996/5.)

Ping one of the developers so they can help you

Thanks. How does one do that?

Or do you mean ‘tag’ one of them in the post?

@mk7z,
I installed the extension in Brave [Release channel] and am able to use it alongside Shields without issue – although I’m not entirely sure what the benefit of using it over Shields is.

Thanks. That was actually one of the main reasons I asked. :wink:
