Brave Sync not working (Fedora 35)

**Description of the issue: Brave Sync not working properly. Terminal shows error messages when sync code has been inputted.

**Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch brave browser (brave-browser in terminal)
  2. Navigate to “Sync”
  3. Select “I have a sync code”
  4. Input sync code from iOS device
  5. Confirm the code is from a device I own
  6. No devices from the sync chain are visible, no syncing takes place

**Reproduces how often: Every time I input the sync code

**Brave Version: Version 1.34.81 / Chromium: 97.0.4692.99 (Official Build) (64-bit)

**Type of devices currently running on the Sync chain in question: 2, an iphone and another desktop
