Description of the issue: On Android Brave Browser, i have disabled an option in search engine called : “Show Browser Suggestion” displaying suggestion based on history and bookmarks (I cannot give you the exact terms in english since i also receive an error if i try to change the language), but Brave still show me suggestion or even full links of previously explored content if i type in the search bar.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- By typing content in the search bar. Suggestions shows up at the first letter typed.
Expected result: It should not display anything, i should be able to type anything without receiving any kind of suggestions.
Brave Version( check About Brave): Brave 1.80.115, Chromium 138.0.7204.97.
Mobile Device details Android 15 on Honor 90 Lite with Magic OS 9.
Additional Information: This bug has been here for quite some time now. The only way to make this go away if probably by deleting all history AND bookmarks, which is clearly not ideal.
