In the last week or two, when I go to a number of sites (Google-related like YouTube, and Reddit) I’ve been signed out.
I don’t have anything set to be deleted on exit (Settings>Privacy and Security>Delete browsing data), but that doesn’t seem to matter because it happens even if I haven’t quit Brave–I’ll just go to the site, and if I haven’t been there since the previous day, I’ll be signed out even if Brave has been running the whole time.
I don’t know exactly how much time needs to elapse before I’m logged out; quitting and relaunching Brave doesn’t, itself, cause it–I’ll still be logged in to those sites if I quit and immediately relaunch Brave.
I am done with Brave untill they fix this for me. I used it for years with clean history on exit, no problem. Now it is logging me out of google, youtube etc. for no reason… Back to Chrome until they fix it.
Same. I just got logged out of all my Google accounts for absolutely no plausible reason overnight. Brave is full of problems and never listens to its community, it’s time to change browsers I guess.
Google just says “This browser or app may not be secure. Try using a different browser.”, amazing!
