I have many Linux computers in my house, all of which run Zorin 17. When Zorin needs to update, sometimes it needs to restart. When it restarts, Brave signs me out of many websites, such as Youtube and other Google related sites. In some cases, it will also delete the passwords saved in the browser. No matter what I do, such as making sure that “delete passwords when closing the browser” is not selected, and allowing all cookies, it still happens. I do not have any settings related to deleting any of my data on exit. Any advice?
Description of the issue: Brave signs me out of websites and deletes passwords when Linux PC is restarted to finish updates in Zorin.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. Wait for an update in Zorin that needs a restart to finish updates. 2. Restart PC when prompted by the updater. 3. Launch Brave. 4. You will have been signed out of random sites and the saved passwords will have been deleted.
Expected result: Brave doesn’t sign me out or delete my passwords upon a restart.
Reproduces how often: Every time the PC gets updated.
Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave
page in the main menu): Zorin 17.3, Brave version 1.78.102
Additional Information: I have Zorin installed on a couple of laptops, but I don’t think I need to re-sign in to anything on the laptops. It may have something to do with the power, but I have no idea.
