Brave shield blocks the usage of the website

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Launch Brave
  2. Open following website:
  3. Try to log-in on this website with a previously registered account

Actual Result:

If the Brave shield is active, then log-in fails on the website (see error message on the screenshot below). By disabling the Brave shield, I can log-in without any problems and with the same browser settings (except Brave shield).

Expected result:

The account log in and I can access the account-related features. Even if Brave shield is activated.

Brave Version:
1.17.73 Chromium: 87.0.4280.67 (official 64-bit version)

Reproduces how often:

Reproducible on current live release (yes/no):

Additional Information:
This error is also reproducable with the latest stable Linux version (1.18.75 Chromium: 87.0.4280.101).

You can play around with shield settings, on a site by site basis. Try moving strict settings to standard, or allowed, cookies from cross site to allowed. Change one and not the other etc to find out which is possibly clashing with the website whilst maintaining the highest privacy settings you can.

Does turning off Ads/trackers help in shields? @bandi88 (if so, what urls are showing up in shields)

@fanboynz: No, it does not help. Even if “enable all ads/trackers” is set, the website not works with shields on.

Also tried to turn on/off https extension. Also won’t work.

It seems, that by turning on Brave shield, the website is not working at all.

I think, there is a bug in Brave. Is there any special place where I could report this matter as bug. Or is this post enough for that?
