Brave share extension *replacing* Mail share extension in MacOS upon installation

After installing Brave on MacOS, the Mail item in my Share menu in System Preferences now has a Brave icon next to it rather than the standard Mail icon. That would not be a problem except that I can no longer select a document in other apps to be shared via Mail. Rather, it opens a Brave browser view of my gmail account. How can I reverse this change without deleting Brave entirely?

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Install Brave on MacOS
  2. Open System Preferences, then Extensions, then Share menu
  3. See Brave icon next to the grayed out Mail option

Expected result:
Wanted to install and use Brave, but retain ability to share docs via Apple Mail

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.20.103 Chromium: 88.0.4324.152 (Official Build) (x86_64)

Additional Information:
Please advise on how to fix this problem

Check this setting ? From Brave made web based Gmail default browser on all apps?

Mail > Preferences > General > Default Browser: Mail

Fantastic! Thank you!
