How secure are the searches and results in transit? I don’t search for “sensitive” things but I still would like to know that they arent being decrypted by Cloudfront.
Does Brave Search utilize Cloudflare? Genuine question, I have no idea.
That said, provided that the site is running TLS (the https:// prefix), the only thing potential MITM can see is that you’re connecting to search.brave.com, they can’t see anything you’re searching. Really, the only concern you might need to have is whether Brave themselves are truly not selling your search data and, well, considering that their reputation hinges on privacy, that’s extremely unlikely.

I’ve just used a hosting checker - it’s on AWS CloudFront, Amazon’s CDN. The CA certificate is from Amazon. At a guess Amazon can see the searches and results to function as a CDN
