Brave Rewards unable to connect Gemini account

When I try to connect Gemini account for Brave Rewards, the option is grey out and it shows currently not available in your location.

However, my region is supported and I have no issue connecting using my mobile phone but I don’t seem to be able to connect on my laptop or desktop despite clearing cache. I don’t want to reset my rewards coz I can’t seem to find a way to do local backup.

This works only if this device was connected to Gemini earlier.

I enabled the settings you mentioned and I manage to login but it still shows region currently not supported.
