Brave rewards for Google Firebase websites

I’ve got a website which is hosted on Google Firebase.
I tried to enable the Brave Rewards by creating the .well-known folder and copying the brave-rewards-verification.txt file in the folder.
Now after more than 48 hours my website is still shown as “not yet verfied” in the Brave browser.
I didn’t find anything about Brave Rewards and Google Firebase in this community and in Google search.

Is ist possible at all?

@styleshifter I’m not familiar with Firebase. Did you have yourowndomain.com? If yes, you can try the DNS record method https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021408352-How-do-I-verify-my-channel-
