Why my Brave rewards are not reflected on my uphold since november 2023, (see image attached) although brave says its completed.
Also, from may to november 2023 I didnt receive my rewards. It said completed and then my browser brave went to zero balance after the suppossedly completed payment.
I have only one uphold wallet always connected. My region is italy. Brave version 1.63.169 the last one
Most likely bet is your account is suspended/flagged. It could be other things, but it’s the most logical assumption.
In any case, you’ll need to complete a Rewards Support Ticket at https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001302431 so someone from Brave can take a closer look and see if they can help.
How I know its flagged if Brave dont tell me that in nowhere?
I submitted a ticket today and last year without any solution. If I were flagged it should alert me somewhere or alert me if I am doing something wrong. I have 3 devices connected and they were accepted to be connected since Brave has raised the quantity of connected devices by accounts. last year.
Maybe Brave need those BAT for tehmselves?
You would think. But antifraud changed things up in the second half of last year and have made it harder than it already was to know if flagged. In the past, you would no longer see ads and your estimated earnings wouldn’t increase. Eventually you would get logged out of your custodial partner when it would tell you that you’re flagged when you tried to connect again.
However, the newer system seems to be allowing people to connect even if they are flagged. They will see ads and the estimated earnings (Earnings so far) will increase. Then when payments go out, it will let you know payments have been sent/received. However, you will get nothing. It is only when you finally create a support ticket to find out what’s going on that they finally let you know that your account has been flagged.
Supposedly that new change isn’t/wasn’t meant to be permanent and only was supposed to impact a certain group of people. But I’m still continually seeing it appear to happen. So I’m not sure if it’s a permanent change or what’s going on. But yeah, there’s your answer.
Nah, they have plenty of BAT. It’s not about needing or taking. What it is about is that a lot of people really are abusing Rewards. They want to treat it like it’s crypto mining or farming. They forget it’s only for you to naturally use the browser and to view ads. But you get people who want to add tons of devices, use automation, attempt to use VPN to view ads from other countries, or do all sorts of things in an attempt to earn as much BAT as possible. This leads to accounts being flagged for unusual activity, as it’s not what an ordinary person using a web browser would be doing. They have to make sure people aren’t stealing from them and advertisers.
Thank you a lot for your help and time to answer me. We will see if Brave answer me in less than a month. Which I doubt, I’ll tell you. Kind regards!
