I use several web pages such as YouTube, Mastodon as progressive web apps (PWA) created by the Brave browser app install feature. It is only on this apps/websites that other background windows (native and web) start to flicker heavily when I close the PWA window. This does not happen if I use the Brave shortcut mechanism to run the app, only if it is a true PWA. If I create the PWA with the chromium browser there is no such problem. I tried toggling the gpu acceleration on and off but the problem persists,. I also tried the brave://flags setting for Wayland/X11 without success. I had the problem when I switched to Manjaro a half year ago, but then it went away. However after a couple of weeks/updates it returned and lastet since then. Any ideas?
