Brave Profile suddenly buggy - 10-20 sec delay when Saving or Downloading

Platform: Linux x86-64

One of my Brave Profiles that been used for over a year suddenly became buggy/corrupt:

Whenever I try to save an image or download a file there is a 10-20 second delay before anything happens (either the save window or the automatic file download start).

The other profiles don’t share the this problem, and I tried the same images and files.

I tried to clear cache and it had no effect.

I’m thinking of trying to transplant the tabs, history, cookies, etc to a new profile to fix this issue. What files in .config/…/Profile X should I preserve?

Check your extensions one by one to see which one is causing it.
