Brave on Linux Sync not working

Since some days my the sync is not woking anymore. It even doesn show the Keychain and Sync setting page anymore.

It says I should enable Brave Safe Storage in the Key settings. But is was anabeled allready.

Can you please help me <3

@stino I’m going to ask a few things.

  1. What distribution/version of Linux are you using?

  2. Which version of Brave?

  3. Have you done everything as indicated at BRAVE Sync - ERROR SECURE STORAGE - SYNC DISABLED - #6 by Mattches ?

Not OP, but I’m having the same issue. I’m on Fedora 38 KDE Plasma, using Brave version 1.51.114, although this has been happening since the last few version. When I downgrade to 1.50.119, it lets me start the sync again.

Unfortunately, it’s not clear to me how to add Brave in KDE Wallet - it looks like the instructions are for the Gnome key manager.
