Brave offers to save passwords even after I turn off "offer to save passwords"

Description of the issue:
As I use Bitwarden for password management I turned off “offer to save passwords” in the Brave settings. The next day, this setting turns itself back on and Brave offers to save passwords again. This has been constant for the past 3 weeks.

I have tried:

rebooting Mac OS
Closing & restarting Brave Browser

How can this issue be reproduced?
Every day I turn off this setting only to find it re-enabled again.

Brave Version:
Version 1.18.78 Chromium: 87.0.4280.141 (Official Build) (x86_64)
MAC OS version:
Mac OS Big Sur 11.1

@tardis3,
Do you have any data set to be cleared On exit by chance? Can you also tell me – other than Bitwarden – any other extensions you may have installed at this time?

I checked and I do not have data to be cleared on exit enabled.

I only have 3 extensions enabled. They are Bitwarden, Consent-O-Matic and Grammarly

Can you please try disabling the extensions (including Bitwarden), turning Offer to save passwords off, then restarting the browser and check to see if the setting has flipped again?
