Brave not seeing all subfolder bookmarks

Description of the issue:
I have nested bookmarks that were created in Microsoft Edge that work as expected. After importing the bookmarks into Brave, I found that some subfolders are not shown.

**Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): None

**Actual Result (from Brave Bookmarks after importing). Note several missing.

**Expected result (from MS Edge Bookmarks):

**Reproduces how often: Every time.

**Operating System and Brave Version: Windows v11. Was unable to locate Brave version but it was downloaded 9/12/2024.

**Additional Information: Both missing folders were added via Edge after Brave was installed. I tried importing them again after the new subfolders were created, both as MS IE and Edge types, no change. I tried closing and relaunching Brave, no change.

Found your post whilst searching for a solution to a similar problem: some of my imported bookmark folders do not show up in the add-bookmark interface, but are visible when I browse these folders in the bookmark manager. This is the second time I have seen this problem in as many migrations between systems, but the difference is that my imports are between Brave browser installations. Totally at a loss for what to do. I wind up making a duplicate folder so I can carry on with my research!

edit: Annnd but a few minutes after my post, I opened the add-bookmark interface and saw my latest missing folder. This was after I had tried simply moving the subfolder to the very top within its parent folder (within the bookmark manager), but this had apparently failed. Not sure what changed since I have not since restarted the browser or done anything else to address the issue. I imagine you have already tried this route, though.

Thanks for the reply. I’m puzzled why this topic isn’t getting more attention. If the software isn’t working properly for me, it must be affecting many others. I realize that this isn’t a commercially available product, with a Customer Support department, but still, I’d expect many others to be piling on with “yeah, me, too!” Oh well, I guess I’ll keep it just for watching YT videos, and if I want to bookmark something, will copy and paste the URL into Windows Edge…
