Brave not blocking spotify ads anymore

Hello,
As of today, Brave is no longer blocking audio ad from spotify web player https://open.spotify.com/.
The image is blocked but audio still playing.
(Hard to take a screen cap of the audio but belive me this is an ad)

The issue present with what I think are the default Shields settings. I tried the stronger setting, and the web player was just not opening…

If the shield is turned off there are ads.

To try and fix the problem i did the last update but it changed nothing.

Well, for me sometimes ads used to play for a second and are then blocked. Happened rarely tho. Haven’t played using web player since I got the premium for just 4 dollars (Actually 299 INR) for the whole year lol.

BTW, doesn’t happen for me anymore even on a non premium account so wondering if only an issue for you ?

Test the following in brave://adblock, save. reload spotify.com

Update “Brave Ad Block Updater” - Version: 1.0.308 or better" in brave://component

Then refresh the spotify site.

Umm. Maybe I am overlooking something, but I get no results for brave://component.

@fanboynz it is brave://components I suppose as I got the result when doing so.

brave://components correction. But yeah, no more Spotify ads. Have been streaming all day. Instant ad skip sortof.

I have the same problem since 2 days ago, while “Brave ad block updater” is updated to the last version.
