Brave not blocking ads on Youtube?

Brave is no longer blocking ads on Youtube. Previous workaround was to run Brave as Administrator but that no longer works either.

Not sure if it’s linked but I’ve already gone through the steps of trying to update the brave://components and checked the content filter list.

In the brave://components list I do see an error on the following:

Brave Ad Block List Catalog - Version: 0.0.0.0
Status - Update error

When I check the content filter list it shows as empty too.

I understand Youtube has been cracking down on the ad blocking this last year quite heavily but I have read a number of posts that people still seem to have ad blocking work for them.

Also I am using the latest version: v1.80.113

Thank you! Following the steps about the folder permissions helped, specifically linked to the folder for that component.
