Updated to Catalina 10.15.5 on 4/10. Since then, Brave browser opens just fine, but web pages either load very slowly or do not load at all. I then try to quit Brave but it is non-responsive and I end up having to force quit. I have to restart my Mac to get Brave to run. When it does run, it only works for a few hours, then webpages start hanging or refuse to load again.
I have uninstalled and re-installed Brave.
Permissions have been changed from read only to read and write for both user and everyone.
Greetings, @lpkitty, and welcome. Not terribly long ago, Release was moved up to 1.10, with the latest release yesterday of 1.10.88. Could you try installing it, either by typing brave://help in the address bar and hitting return to invoke the autoupdater or by going to the release page to download and see if this resolves? I’m on Catalina (oh, 10.15.4 - need to update) and use Nightly, which has an initial period of nonresponsiveness when I have Rewards active, but subsequent behavior is acceptable. But Nightly is on 1.12.17.
