Hello I’m on Windows 11 24h2
I have no sound on steam website but I have sound on youtube.
The sound is not muted on steam website
Working for me on both macOS and Windows systems. To confirm, you are referring to store.steampowered.com, correct? Further, can you please visit the site, click the “tune” icon in the address bar then click Site settings and check and confirm that the site is allowed to play Sound?
Can you also (if the above doesn’t help), please go to Menu -->More tools --> Guest profile) to launch a Guest profile window, close your original profile window, then visit Steam again and try to play video content and tell me if the behavior persists int he guest window?
Sounds like the issue is specific to your profile. I would first try clearing cookies/data for the site (same page as the permissions one — store.steampowered.com, then “tune” icon, Site settings —> Delete data). Refresh the page and test again.
If that does not work, I’m wondering if it might for some reason be related to a specific extension you have installed at this time?
I cleared cache but sound is not here.
Yesterday before i upgrade brave it was ok.
I have disabled all extensions and sound is back.

You’re welcome — I had a feeling it might be an extension. If you’d like, you can go ahead and re-enable each extension you have one at a time and test sound on the steam site each time you enable one to see if you can isolate the specific extension that was causing the issue.
If you do, please let me know so we can assist other users who may run into this same issue.
