Brave no longer works on Bluestacks?

Brave is my go-to browser for PC and mobile, and WAS my default on Bluestacks too. But now it won’t work on Bluestacks anymore.
I tried downloading it again but playstore says it is not compatible.
Is there a work-around, or a different version that still works on Bluestacks?

@GrammieRee BlueStacks is just an Android emulator. As long as it’s running an Android version supported and is able to use Google Play, it would work. I’m not sure of the specifics on your settings? You’ll need to see what device and Android version you are emulating.

Perhaps refer to Bluestacks for support. They do have various articles like https://support.bluestacks.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404211164813-How-to-resolve-Device-incompatible-error-for-an-app-in-BlueStacks-5 which may help

Or if you’re doing APK directly from Brave instead of Google Play and are getting a message about it being unable to install the APK, you would need to reference https://support.bluestacks.com/hc/en-us/articles/10527056157965-Solution-for-error-when-trying-to-install-an-incompatible-APK-on-BlueStacks-5

Just keep in mind that each version of Brave is only available on certain versions of each OS.

Also if you’re unaware, you can always grab APK and all directly through Brave’s Github at https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/releases which should be viable for something like Bluestacks.

Thank you so much for your help! I tried each of your solutions and the one that worked was to create a new instance of BlueStacks. I was able to download Brave on there so now I just need to download all my other stuff to that instance and I should be good to go! lol
Thank you so so so much!!
