Brave Nightly element blocking issue Politico.com, other sites

Description of the issue: I am unable to create CSS rule via selector for cookie acceptance popup in Brave Nightly. The element blocking appears not to work on other sites either. I am able to create rules easily in Release version.

Exact URL of the website in question: https://www.politico.com/, assorted sites.

Did the issue present with [default Shields settings? N/A

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off? N/A

Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration: N/A

Does the site work as expected when using Chrome? Blocking elements via selector is not a problem on Brave release version.

Brave version: Nightly v 1.7.44

If you want to add manually add a cookie filter for this site:
(Right Click, Brave, Block Element..) The add this: .cookie-modal
