Brave "newtab" not loading on initial start

Thanks for any help.

I cannot find a way to have “newtab” as my startup.
On every startup of Brave, it defaults to “Brave.com.”

Brave Version( check About Brave): Brave is up to date
Version 1.63.174 Chromium: 122.0.6261.128 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I have tried to change it in the setting, but it will not take it.
