Brave new tab not remembering history sites

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a setting that can change if BRAVE remembers my browsing history, because every time I open I new tab, I have to type in the full site address, instead of brave showing suggestions from previous sites that I’ve visited.

Setting located at brave://settings/appearance
