Hello. I love many Brave features, but in the past few weeks, it has started requiring me to repeatedly log into a site I use multiple times per day. I’ve searched the knowledge base, and although there are many requests for help with Brave signing people out when they close Brave, this happens when Brave is running. And it happens to only one site, which is a vendor site for the typesetter used by my employer (a policy journal). Other sites keep me signed in. I have asked the admin for this particular website about it, and he says they have not made any reauthentication policy changes.
To reproduce the problem, all I have to do is quit using this website (leaving the tab open) for sometimes a few minutes, other times an hour – there doesn’t seem to be a timing-out element to the problem. When I click back in to do something, I’m forced to sign in again.
I would like to keep using Brave for this because of how it allows customization of the saving of documents – a key part of the tasks I perform using this particular website. Other browsers might not have the signing-out problem, but they don’t save the downloaded files in the way Brave does.
