Brave logging me in to my Google Account and skipping 2 Factor Authentication

When I open Brave it automatically logs me in to my Google account without going through Google 2 Factor Authentication.

If I clear the Brave Cache it does then use 2FA, but only for that log in. It then reverts to logging me without 2FA until I clear the cache again.

My Google password is not saved in Brave and turning off save passwords and automatically fill passwords makes no difference.

I need 2FA for security reasons.

Any help please?

When using 2FA, there is an option Don’t ask again on this device. If I then sign out, and re-login into google, it won’t ask for the 2FA (based on this setting).
